Payment Request in TallyPrime — Invoice पर UPI QR Code और Payment Link
Payment Request, TallyPrime Release 3.0 (12 June 2023) में आया feature है जिससे invoice के साथ ही UPI QR code या payment gateway का link customer को जाता है, ताकि वह तुरंत pay कर सके। Release 4.0 में इसमें सुधार हुए — buyer amount बदलकर partial payment कर सकता है, Cash ledger वाले voucher पर भी QR बनता है और GST disabled होने पर भी Simple Invoice में QR print होता है।
दो तरीके — UPI या Payment Gateway

Requirements
- TallyPrime 3.0 या बाद का release (4.0 वाले सुधारों के लिए 4.0+)।
- Payment link/QR बनाने के लिए internet; Merchant Profile login के लिए registered e-mail/mobile पर OTP आता है।
- Gateway use करना है तो पहले gateway के साथ खुद registration और KYC करें — वह TallyPrime के बाहर होता है।
Setup — steps

| 1. Feature on करें | F11 (Features) → Show more features = Yes → Enable Payment Request to share payment link/QR code = Yes। |
| 2. Merchant Profile बनाएं | Payment Method में UPI चुनें तो UPI ID और Merchant Name दें; Payment Gateway (Razorpay/PayU) चुनें तो Merchant ID और registered e-mail/mobile दें। Ctrl+A से save। |
| 3. Voucher type में auto option | Alt+G → Create/Alter → Voucher Type (Sales) में Generate payment link/QR code after saving voucher = Yes। |
| 4. Invoice बनाकर QR लें | Sales voucher save करें और prompt पर Enter दबाएं। बाद में बनाना हो तो voucher खोलकर Alt+Z (Exchange) → Generate Payment Link/QR Code → Current। |
| 5. Print या share करें | Ctrl+P / Ctrl+E / Ctrl+M में Payment Request Details → Method of Payment Request को Link, QR Code या दोनों रखें। |
| 6. Payments match करें | Gateway ledger में Behave as Payment Gateway = Yes रखें, Alt+G → Payment Reconciliation खोलें और Alt+O से gateway का statement import करें। |
Day Book, Ledger Vouchers या Ledger Outstandings से भी Spacebar से entries चुनकर Alt+Z → Generate Payment Link/QR Code से एक साथ links बना सकते हैं — outstanding वसूली के लिए यह बहुत काम आता है। Invoice को WhatsApp पर भेजने के लिए TallyPrime WhatsApp देखें।
Limits
- Link/QR सिर्फ regular vouchers पर बनता है, optional vouchers पर नहीं।
- Payment link सिर्फ PDF export में clickable होता है।
- Merchant Profile में Save QR code/link = No रखा तो reports से QR नहीं बनेगा।
- UPI remarks में &, # और / जैसे special characters न डालें।
- पैसा आपके UPI/gateway account में आता है; TallyPrime सिर्फ request और reconciliation संभालता है।

Retail और service businesses जिनकी छोटी-छोटी बहुत सारी invoices हैं, B2B suppliers जिनका collection देर से आता है, और जो customers को “account number भेजो” वाली झंझट से बचाना चाहते हैं।
Common Mistakes
Gateway ledger को Behave as Payment Gateway के बिना बनाना
तब Payment Reconciliation में ledger दिखेगा ही नहीं। Ledger को Bank Accounts या Current Assets में बनाकर यह option Yes करें।
Personal UPI ID से business payments लेना
Personal और business receipts मिल जाती हैं और matching मुश्किल होती है। Business का अलग UPI ID रखें और वही Merchant Profile में डालें।
