TallyPrime 1.1 (1.1.1–1.1.4) — e-Invoice, e-Payments, QRMP JSON और TCS बदलाव
TallyPrime 1.1 series का official release notes पर date 29 December 2020 दिया है, और इसका headline feature था e-Invoicing। इसी series में बाद के updates 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3 और 1.1.4 आए, जिनमें QRMP/IFF के लिए GSTR-1 JSON, Undo IRN Cancellation, TCS के बदलाव और e-Invoice Sandbox शामिल थे। Tally ने सभी sub-releases के notes एक ही page पर रखे हैं और अलग-अलग dates नहीं दीं।

1.1 क्यों जरूरी था
October 2020 से बड़े turnover वाले businesses पर e-Invoicing लागू हुआ, और 1.0 में यह सुविधा नहीं थी। 1.1 में voucher save करते ही IRN लेने का option आया, जिससे portal पर JSON upload का अलग काम बचा। Practical बात: e-Invoice के लिए party और stock item की GST details (GSTIN, HSN, state, pincode) सही होनी चाहिए — ज़्यादातर IRN errors इन्हीं से आते हैं, देखें IRN errors।
1.1.4 का Sandbox training के लिए बहुत काम का था — नए staff को live data पर IRN cancel करना सिखाने का risk नहीं लेना पड़ता।
Upgrade notes
- TSS: 1.1.1 के notes में लिखा है कि November 2020 तक valid TSS वालों को upgrade मिलेगा। आज latest पर जाने के लिए भी active TSS चाहिए — latest price WhatsApp पर पूछें।
- Server: 1.1.1 के लिए TallyPrime Server भी 1.1.1 पर होना जरूरी था — server और client का release मेल खाना चाहिए।
- License glitch: 1.1.3 में Gateway Server issue से license Educational mode में जाने की problem notes में दर्ज है, जो 1.1.4 में fix हुई। 1.1.3 पर अटके हों तो कम से कम इसके आगे जाएँ।
- Data migration: 1.x का data latest release में migrate होता है (2.1 तक के data का अलग migration path है)।
क्या आपको अभी भी 1.1 पर रहना चाहिए?

Common Mistakes
Client upgrade, TallyPrime Server पुराना
1.1.1 जैसे releases में server version भी बदलना पड़ता है। Server और सभी clients एक ही release पर रखें।
Live company में IRN cancel करके “practice”
Undo IRN Cancellation गलती सुधारने के लिए है, practice के लिए नहीं — live data की cancellations returns तक पहुँचती हैं। सीखने के लिए Sandbox या test company लें।
