Outstanding Expenses Ledger किस Group में बनाएं? — TallyPrime

Outstanding Expenses (Salary Payable, Rent Payable आदि) का ledger Provisions group में बनाएं, जो Current Liabilities (Primary group) का sub-group है। कई firms इसे सीधे Current Liabilities में रखती हैं — दोनों तरीकों में यह Balance Sheet के Liabilities side में ही आता है।

हमारी book TallyPrime 7.0 सम्पूर्ण मार्गदर्शिका के year-end closing अध्याय में 31/03 पर “Outstanding Salary A/c” को Current Liability मानकर credit किया गया है, और अध्याय 6 की group table में Current Liabilities के अंदर “Outstanding Expenses” दिया है।

Accurate Traders में March की salary ₹1,50,000 है जो 7 April को दी जाएगी। 31 March को Journal (F7), फिर 7 April को payment:

इससे March का खर्च उसी साल में आता है (accrual concept), और April में सिर्फ liability चुकती है।

Report में कहाँ दिखेगा?

Balance Sheet → Current Liabilities → Provisions → Salary Payable। Schedule III में Short-term Provisions या Other Current Liabilities में (nature के अनुसार)।

Common Mistakes

Payment के समय फिर से Salary debit करना

Provision बनाने के बाद अगले साल payment में Payable ledger debit करें, वरना खर्च दो बार।

Outstanding ledger Indirect Expenses में बनाना

Payable liability है, खर्च नहीं। Provisions / Current Liabilities में रखें।

पुराना balance carry होते रहना

हर साल check करें कि पिछले साल का payable zero हो गया; बचा हुआ balance गलती का संकेत है।

Next year me payment karte waqt kya entry hogi?

Payment voucher में Outstanding/Payable ledger Dr और Bank Cr — खर्च ledger दोबारा debit न करें, वरना खर्च दो बार आएगा।

क्या हर खर्च का अलग outstanding ledger चाहिए?

बेहतर है — Salary Payable, Rent Payable, Electricity Payable अलग रखें। छोटे businesses एक Outstanding Expenses ledger से भी काम चला लेते हैं।
